Ciphio Vault

  • How do I reset my master password? - Your master password cannot be reset as it's used to encrypt your vault. If you've forgotten it, you'll need to create a new vault. Make sure to export your data regularly as a backup.
  • Is my data stored in the cloud? - No, all your data is stored locally on your device. We use zero access architecture, meaning we never have access to your encrypted vault.
  • Can I sync across multiple devices? - Currently, Ciphio Vault stores data locally on each device. You can export your vault from one device and import it to another using the import/export feature.
  • What encryption does Ciphio use? - We use AES-GCM encryption with secure key derivation. Your master password is never transmitted to our servers.

Ciphio Sleep

  • How accurate are the sleep calculations? - Sleep cycles typically last 90 minutes, but this varies by individual. The app provides estimates based on general sleep research. Consult a sleep specialist for personalized advice.
  • Does Ciphio Sleep track my sleep automatically? - No, Ciphio Sleep is a calculator that helps you plan bedtimes. It does not automatically detect when you fall asleep.
  • Can I export my sleep data? - Sleep data is stored locally on your device. Export features may be added in future updates.
  • What is Gremlin Mode? - Gremlin Mode appears when it's too late for optimal sleep. It shows survival options—sometimes a short 90-minute cycle is better than interrupted longer sleep.

  • How does matching work? - Both people swipe independently. Decinder only reveals movies that both sides liked so you can decide faster.
  • Do I need to install an app? - No install required. Decinder runs in the browser at decinder.ciphio.com and works great on mobile and desktop.
  • Can I use Decinder solo? - Yes. You can browse and shortlist movies on your own, then share picks with your partner.
