Seedwave

An endless radio of electronic music, composed and played live in your browser. Every song comes from a short code: the same code always plays the same song, so a good one can be shared and heard again.

Fig. 4 A silent sketch of the idea: a code becomes a pattern. The real thing makes sound.

The processHow it works

  1. Tune in

Pick a station and press play: club styles from acid to drum & bass, calm ones for focus, Drive for the road, Climb for a song that keeps rising. Songs follow one another without a gap.

  2. Every song has a code

Six letters and digits hold the whole song: its tune, its build-ups, its sounds. Keep the ones you like, share them as a link, or ask the radio for more like this.

  3. Make it yours

Open any song in the studio: drums, an acid bass, leads and chords, a piano roll, a MIDI keyboard, and an input for your bağlama, guitar or voice. Export it as a WAV or a video.

QuestionsOften asked

Is the music made by AI?

No. Seedwave follows hand-written rules of electronic music, with chance deciding the rest: which riff, which sound, where the drop comes. No model was trained on anyone's music.

Can I use the songs?

Yes. Songs you play, make or export with Seedwave are yours to use.

Are the artists real?

No. Song titles and artist names are made up by the generator, like the songs themselves.

Why does a song sometimes change?

Seedwave is still growing, and the generator gets better from version to version. Once it reaches version 1, a code will keep playing the same song for good.
